Welcome to The Low Major, a newsletter on the eccentricities of sports and more!

We’re Eli, David, Maddy, Nik, and Ret. We live for sports, as many do, but for us, it’s not about wins and losses (for most of us, it’s usually losses). Our passion for sports comes from its idiosyncrasies.

We’ll stray off the beaten path to regale you with the oft-ignored stories of the underdogs, we’ll rattle on about the aesthetics of both the games we watch and the networks that broadcast them, and we’ll dive into the oddities that give sports so much charm.

But while we’re all primarily sports fans, we each have other passions as well: music, movies, video games, and more will see their time in the spotlight on The Low Major!
