March 11, 2020: In a game between the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks that was at halftime when the NBA announced the suspended season, a 43-year-old Vince Carter is hastily subbed into the game for the Hawks with 19.5 seconds left in overtime and the Knicks securely in possession of an irrelevant victory. Carter has previously announced he’s retiring at the end of the season, so this is likely his last chance to play in an NBA game. The Hawks feed him the ball on their final trip up the court and the Knicks decline to defend him as he drains a three-pointer from the top of the key.
