Album: R.I.Pizza (2019)
Artist: Stoney Calzoney
Link:
This is a joke album with better production than at least 50% of what I’ve heard doing my daily reviews.
What.
From the Papa John’s beef in ‘I’m A Real Calzone’ to the Injury Reserve-like versework on ‘Life of a Calzone’, to an almost Glover-esque feel, snappy lyrics over comfortably weighty production, it feels like whoever made this genuinely loves music and also… well, genuinely really loves calzones - which is fair, they’re great.
This album has no right to be as good as it is.
What the hell.
Rating: 7.8/10
Best Tracks: Life of a Calzone
Worst Tracks: R.I.Pizza
