Welcome back to the Daily Spin, the series in which I review 365 albums during 2023.
Each album will be given a rating on a scale from 0 to 10. You can look at the entire set here. Additionally, you can check out a list of my favorite song from each album right here.
If you want to suggest an album, good news! You can do so right here!

I’ve never really been much for J-rock - nothing against the language barrier, rather the balladic nature of a lot of the songs I’ve been familiarized with over time tends to push some of the wrong buttons.
I hate to be that guy that says “this is Persona music” because frankly, it’s a genre far greater than one game series that happens to have garnered a sizable Western audience - so I’m glad to say that this clearly doesn’t fit the bill. Whew.
I don’t dislike this, not by a longshot, but it’s just not really my cup of tea. Too often, it feels a bit like yearning turned up to eleven, and that’s fine in small doses, but over an extended run, it doesn’t quite click.
Rating: 7.1/10
Best Tracks: Blue; Progress
Worst Tracks: 1995
the daily spin!
this is a very cool thing
however i have not listened to the album as i am at school right now and literally every music streaming service is blocked on my school computer. i could turn this into a rant about the american education system but instead i am simply going to end the comment here
i might listen to the album when i get home (by "listen" i mean "get 3 songs in and then give up cause i might not like it")
