Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: Fever (2016)
Artist: Woman

Woman’s Fever strikes true at a lot of what makes synthpop really enticing to me personally - strong hooks, quick-hit vocals that don’t waste any time lingering, and snappy production.
The worst part about this album is SEO - who genuinely thought this was a good idea for 1) a band name, and 2) an album title, and 3) a combination thereof. I am trying to research and I cannot find ANYTHING. Rude.
At the end of the day, it’s not a long EP, but it doesn’t need to be. The pacing matches the steps well, it doesn’t overimpose, and is content to blend in to the genre. That’s good, solid content.
