Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: Legendary (2015)
Artist: POWERS

I’m not sure any band had as high of a batting average as POWERS managed - though they stopped making music in 2017, before the release of a debut album that never came to fruition, what little they did put out remains a truly incredible collection.
It’s the perfect taste of electro-pop that makes these songs so irresistible. There’s no getting around some of the quirks of the genre that can otherwise hold tracks back, but POWERS have contended with the best of them - by calling in Knocks-like flavor, you wind up with a brilliantly complete effort, one that lacks the same pitfalls most electronica struggles with.
There’s little to dislike and a great deal to love. I think my greatest frustration is that there isn’t more of it to enjoy.
Rating: 9/10
Best Tracks: Beat of My Drum
Worst Tracks: Hot

These guys and Magic Man just dropped some of the best pop of the entire decade and then dipped completely.
