Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: 4 Track EP (2017)
Artist: Litany

Technically, this has eight tracks if you count the four interludes that split out each actual track. False advertising, 0/10, I’m calling the authorities.
Genuinely, though, this is some really solid bedroom pop. There’s not a lot of depth to it, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be deep for a quick-hitter EP, alt-pop that hits the right beats for sadgirl music but never forces its hand nor overextended. It knows its niche and stays there, something more albums could stand to learn to do.
There’s little here that truly surprises, but ‘Bedroom’ is one of the best soft pop songs I’ve heard in recent memory. It’s landed on my playlists countless times since I first heard it in 2017, with those sneakily catchy keyboards and alluring vocals that are so consistent throughout this entire record. It rarely misses, and that’s what makes this quick hitter a little bit of a shame - I’d love to see it go longer, because this is a working formula that deserves all the air time.
