Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: Come Find Me (2014)
Artist: Yeo
Link:
Pretty impressive work from someone who generally seems rather unaware of the accomplishments he’s managed.
Though his roots vary, Yeo’s gradual movement towards bass-oriented grooves comes through most strongly here and seems to have been a running theme in his mid-2010s releases.
While I would argue this doesn’t often contain the same polish as many other albums, and does suffer somewhat for it, I still think there’s plenty of enjoyable sound to be dug up here if you’re willing to find it.
