Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: and it’s been raining ever since (2024)
Artist: PRONOUN

As an ode to unrealized paths, and it’s been raining ever since shines, the sort of album you can throw on while you’re daydreaming about who you might be had your life gone any number of different ways.
The closest ready analogue I can think of would probably be Tegan and Sara - indie rock with poppier touches, female-vocalist running with lyrics that generally lean a little more middle-of-the-road.
It’s short, but packs a strong punch. The brass influences here are pretty sick and woefully underutilized in the whole, but each track has a really fun personality that makes this a fast listen. Super fun - wish it were a little longer and given a little more time to cook, but I can’t be too mad at the short-range, because I think it keeps the sound from getting stale.
