Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.

Realizing that this dance-pop record is coming from an artist who began her career as a folk starlet is a wild sort of whiplash I was not prepared for - but gosh, it’s sure clear that the pivot was the right move.
Evoking the best of that eighties sort of flavor, this is all breathy vocals and stark guitar/synth battles - but rarely does this strike truly memorable, as most of its moments fall by the wayside.
This is an album that recalls shadows and imitations of days gone by - where those albums strike memorable, nothing here lingers long past fading touches.
