Spotify has been pushing this EP so firmly upon me that you’d think Chloe Ament worked a Drake-esque sponsorship deal.
However, unlike Drake, who I occasionally do enjoy listening to, this doesn’t really do much at all for me. Realizing that this was an EP based on Booktok recommendations (if you don’t know, it’s best not to learn) made a ton of sense when considering most of this seemed to formed out of an attachment to fictional characters.
I wouldn’t care - I enjoy dabbling in fanfiction and fandom spaces, but to write an entire EP about mediocre-to-bad romance is just… so unbelievably cringeworthy. Oh my god.
Don’t do it.
