Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: Second Body (2020)
Artist: Two People

If the first body was the neon lights of a city alive, the second body is the dawn light bleeding over the horizon, the same ambiance with the confidence gained by surviving a night on the town.
I really like what they’ve done with this record, taking the deep house to an entirely new level by looping in edges of dream pop and synthwave, creating a space that despite a heavier crowd feel more defined. They’ve drilled down and struck all the richer for it.
Second Body is kinetic, dynamic, and a fun listen, the sort of energetic adventure that promises and delivers.
