I love a very heavily 80s-influenced indie band doing its thing even without you telling me that they also get a little queer with it, but that’s a nice bonus to have.

Displaying a surprisingly fluidity in not only their presentation but also their music, Lower Dens provide a chameleon of an album, ready at all times to be whatever suits the mood, as long as that mood is sufficiently pastel.
