Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.

I’ve been listening to a lot of feel-good stuff lately. The constant looming depression might have something to do with that, but it could be genuine happiness at the few things that have gone right for me lately; who’s to say.
Dream in Colour continues this trend rather brilliantly - this is not an album that requires a great deal of thought to enjoy - rather, this is the kind of record that you blissfully sail along to through your work day, or while pushing through an evening commute.
There’s a delightful sort of simplicity at work here - this is rave music for someone who can’t necessarily trip out on LSD on their way into the office. Though the lyrics are often a little ham-fistedly simple for it, it’s never enough to make any one track bad, and the good ones are so jam-filled that they belong on a Cub donut counter. ‘She’s Too Good For Me’, hokey as the name might be, is such a bop that I routinely find myself trying to hit impossible (for me) melodies throughout my day - it just sticks with you.
I won’t lie and say this is my favorite album of all time or anything ludicrous like that, but it’s a great soft landing for the busy mind. It’s nice to turn off a bit - anything that makes that easier gets a point from me.
