Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: The Movement of Time (2018)

Perfectly pleasant pop-ish music that doesn’t really do much to overwhelm the senses. In an era of maximalist production and sound that always looks to either find the ten-second clip to make a billion streams or the one that’ll make the rounds on the reel circuits, it’s nice to get a moment to avoid that.
Here, instead, we’re treated to full-bodied music - the clear standout is the most popular song, ‘All Yours’, a strong guitar track with hefty electronic elements that uses this really lovely glimmering music-box type beat to float its otherwise weighty sound. The combination one-two punch is delicious, though, and works to near-perfection.
Though most of this album isn’t really much to write about - there’s some good stuff here. As guitars are often eschewed in the pop sphere, it’s nice to see someone stick by them, even if they’re under a layer or fifteen of filters. Popularity.
