Decently catchy rock here, well-accentuated with surf touches and little angsty flair throughout.

I’m never really mad about it, but I also feel like this album spins its wheels a fair amount. Too much time where we’re left trying to just get to the next slot on the album.

The melodramatics here only get you so far, and while the sound is good, it’s not given its fair value nor a chance to really shine.
