Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: TO YOU, BY US (VOL 1)
Artist: Tobiahs

It’s not often that I hear stutter house and think of it as beautiful - the choppy drums and oft… well, stuttering bass make for a unique perspective, though not one I so clearly associate with beauty.
Australian producer Tobiahs seems to be on a one-man crusade to change that with his crowd-sourced full-length, released in August. The track list was selected by crowdfunded projects, and in doing so, the people have spoken, and heartfelt EDM is back on the menu.
I’m left a little flummoxed all the same by the stylistic choices, for as much as I love this conceptually. That said, the bass is so good here that it’s hard to really be too mad, especially when this hits that sweet spot so many albums miss entirely.
