Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: Your Day Will Come (2024)
Artist: Chanel Beads

Dreamy and a little drugged at times, Your Day Will Come still comfortably manages to exist in that space between sincere and saccharine - never quite chintzy or cheesy, merely earnest.
It’s the sort of debut I tend to gravitate to. There’s enough there to get me familiar-ish with the major players in the band and their style as a group, but plenty unsaid and never a feeling that this is the best we’ll ever get from Chanel Beads.
You wouldn’t think this would work - I certainly didn’t - but the results speak for themselves. This is delightful in so many completely unforeseen ways.
