Welcome back to the Daily Spin. For the uninitiated, this is the series in which I review an album every day of 2025.
As was the case two years ago, my favorite song from each album can be found at the playlist linked here.
Album: Quiet Ferocity (2017)
Artist: The Jungle Giants

Whereas yesterday’s album was built more on what went unsaid, as much as factor in my enjoyment as anything, today’s is purely about the fun of it.
With this record, the Jungle Giants have curated a sleek portfolio of groove-focused dance rock, the type of stuff that would easily make its way to a FIFA soundtrack (in my head, at least - it’d fit perfectly to the peppy sort of air most of those tracks hold).
I get a little tired of the sound towards the back half of the album. I’d hesitate to call it stale, but there’s not exactly a ton of variety here and you’d be forgiven for struggling to separate out some of these tracks.
