Each album will be given a rating on a scale from 0 to 10. You can look at the entire set here. Additionally, you can check out a list of my favorite song from each album right here.
Album: no future (2020)

This is, at a base level, really solid bedroom pop as a framework - but I’m left just the tiniest bit underwhelmed on future and repeat listens, as I sit here trying to think back upon what shone to me and what left me wishing for more.Â
I think the crux of the issue lies primarily in the instrumentation, honestly - yes, it’s solid work at base, and yes, the actual musical elements are really quite strong, but the lyrics veer into the nonsensical at best and at worst are unintelligible entirely. It’s an entire album that feels oddly dissonant, a feeling I’m not super into if I can be brutally honest.Â
That said, it’s still extremely enjoyable on the whole - one thing EDEN is sure of is his capability to produce, and it comes through so many times on this album, varied just enough to keep things interesting, nimble when the situation calls for it, but also excellent at managing that gravitas that - while maybe a little silly to reference in regard to bedroom pop - feels absolutely appropriate given what seems to be more tense subject matter.Â
